ANN ARBOR, MI -- Domino's Pizza will no longer use advertising that features artistic food photography or fake food touch-ups.

"How many times have you wondered why the products you buy don't look as good in person as they do in TV ads?" said Russell Weiner, Domino's Pizza chief marketing officer. "That's because most of the time companies use artificial techniques to make their products look better than they do when served to you in person. At Domino's, we're proud of the way our pizza looks - and tastes - right out of the oven."

Chicago sheds a light on people's dining habits

The Zagat Survey released its Chicago Restaurants Survey this week, finding that many Chicagoans are cutting back due to the weak economy.

Among the key findings of this year’s survey, only 30 percent of those who call the Windy City home say the weak economy hasn’t affected their dining out habits with more than 40 percent of those surveyed saying they were eating out less.

New York City -- Nine months after Conde Nast announced it would shut down "Gourmet," the company said it would relaunch the brand with a digital content application for the iPad and other mobile devices.

"Gourmet Live," slated to debut in the fourth quarter of 2010, includes collections of high-resolution photos, articles and videos and gives users the ability to interact with other users and share content through social networks.

Consumer Group Threatens McDonalds with Lawsuit

A government consumer advocacy group is demanding McDonald's stop putting toys in its Happy Meals, saying the fast-food giant is luring young children into its restaurants.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest is giving McDonald's 30 days to comply with its request. The group's executive director says if McDonald's denies his request, he will take them to court.

Campbell Soup Recalls 15M Pounds of Spaghetti-O's

The US Department of Agriculture and Campbell Soup announced late Thursday night that it will institute a nationwide recall of its Spaghetti-O brand over concerns of possibly under-processing.

The recall affects 15 million pounds of Spaghetti-O canned pasta meals. Company officials say the potentially questionable products include Spaghetti-O with Meatballs, Spaghetti-Os A-Z, and Spaghetti-O Fun Shapes with Meatballs.

President Obama addresses the nation: His words on Gulf food
